Terms of Use for Chia
This Terms of Use ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Third Story Studios ("we," "us," or "our") for the use of the Chia mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. This document includes our End User License Agreement.
License Grant
Third Story Studios grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the Chia App on any compatible device that you own or control, strictly for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
Restrictions on Use
You agree not to:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, or international laws.
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained in the App.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its original content (excluding third-party web content), features, artwork, and functionality, are and will remain the exclusive property of Third Story Studios. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.
Third-Party Content and External Links
The App allows you to view recipes and other resources via an in-app web view.
- No OwnershipThese external resources are owned by their respective creators.
- No ResponsibilityThird Story Studios does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.
- AvailabilityAccess to these resources requires an active internet connection. We do not guarantee that third-party content will always be available or accurate.
Disclaimer of Medical/Nutritional Advice
The information provided within Chia (including recipes accessed via web view) is for informational purposes only.
- Chia does not provide medical or nutritional advice.
- You should consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new diet or if you have specific food allergies or medical conditions.
- Reliance on any information provided by the App or external web resources is solely at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Third Story Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
"As Is" and "As Available" Disclaimer
The App is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. Third Story Studios disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, regarding the App.
Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated by you or Third Story Studios. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any terms of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Third Story Studios operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
